"INSTANT MO' BETTER!!! My VAC 300B amp sounds instantly less wobbly, less microphonic, tighter bass, better everything."

"The instruments sound more like real instruments. There is just less grunge between you and the music. These tube dampers really work!"

"After further listening and a number of A/B comparisons, alone and with one of my associates, I/we have come to the conclusion that the Herbie Tube Dampers are virtually indispensable for tube electronics, especially in the phono stages of tube preamplifiers. The improvements are easily noticeable once the listener focuses in on the differences. They have joined The Recommended Components-Accessories."

John Zurek, Positive Feedback Online

"I wasn't expecting this. These little rings tied it all together. COHERENT. Delicacy. Wooliness now absent. Soundstage noticeably more solid all the way across, a depth that wasn't there before, bass more controlled. The attack (what non-musicians call transients) on the Martin guitars was all of a sudden happening, really happening, full of the little cues that make music seem much more alive."

Rick Becker, Enjoy the Music.com

...

"The Damping Instruments are Big League. Operating directly on the tubes, where various shelving and isolation technologies are less effective, they have taken my system to a new high point."

Sean Christen, Hi Fi Talk

...

"The best way that I can put the change is 'I didn't know that I was missing that.' I didn't know that the soundstage was just a little smeared, it seemed to just snap into place where I didn't know that it was loose. The bass got tighter and the imaging got better in speakers that I thought that I was getting all that I could from."

Rich Brkich, Signature Sound

...

"I am very happy with how well they have worked on the line stage tubes in our demo Joule-Electra LA-150 preamp. I immediately noticed a less sibilant presentation and better imaging with a quieter, blacker background."

Scott Faller, TNT-Audio

...

"Anybody that is into tubes knows these transparent little globes can make some awful sounds when they start to vibrate. I've got a variety of different tube dampers laying around here but my favorite is the Halo's.

"Not only do they tame the vast majority of the vibrations in the glass but they also allow the tube to dissipate heat properly. As you look close at them, rather than being a snug fit around the circumference of the tube, these have only three (or four) contact points with the glass. This allows better airflow and heat dissipation. Result, a cooler running tube.

"The sound quality improvements are pretty obvious when you install them. The image becomes noticeably sharper, bass tightens up and you get much more detail from your tubed gear.

"These little gems are worth every penny of their already inexpensive costs."

"I am a convert to Hal-O's. I purchased two dampers, and soon thereafter purchased eight more. The effect on my system was to eliminate frequency exaggerations caused by my tubes picking up resonance frequencies. The difference was significant and immediate without impacting the coloration of the type of tube used. For example, I use a pinched waist Amperex 6922 in the line output of my pre-amp. Your tube damper significantly reduced the harmonics of this tube (which are notorious) and improved imaging without reducing the 'air' to the sound that this tube creates.

...

"Also to my surprise, your tube damper works significantly on a rectifier tube as well (6CA4). Resonances of my listening room were being picked up by this tube, and the result was an exaggerated bass at certain frequencies. This was immediately eliminated when I put on a damper.

"I received my HAL-O 9 damping instruments and installed them in my Counterpoint SA-1000 preamp and the improvement in clarity, detail and tonal accuracy is phenomenal.

...

"I have been talking to Dan Wright about doing a power supply mod on the SA-1000 and I can honestly say that if his $300 mod makes as much of an improvement as the $10 HAL-O-9's did I will be very happy indeed."

Jhun, Singapore

...

"I'm now using the 4 Hal-Os and the results are really great! I noticed that my system now has wider soundstage, better clarity and more defined."

David Whitlark, Provo, Utah

...

"I received the hal-o dampers quickly and in fine shape. I didn't read the product reviews until after I listened for myself. What I heard was improved detail and focus with better bass definition. As I am a skeptic by nature I was surprised that the difference in sound was so immediately noticeable. But after reading the product reviews I really am amazed that others hear the same types of improvement that I do. Thanks for making a great product!"

Tyson Neidig, Denver, Colorado

...

"The HAL-O's are amazing! I slipped a pair over the Siemens 6922's in my AI Modulus 3A preamp, and wow, they ratcheted up the sound from my speakers a few notches. In fact, these tube dampers are the best price/performance tweak I've tried yet. If you have tubed equipment, run to your computer and order a few. I'm super happy. Hell, they are making Barenboim's latest CD's of the 9 Beethoven Symphonies sound not bad. Before I had the HAL-O's in, the music just sounded limp. I figured it was just a bad job of conducting, but now it's actually sounding pretty good. Talk about increasing musical enjoyment!"

L. J. Phillips, North Vancouver, Canada

...

"Just got the Halo 9's and put them into my preamp -- the difference was noted immediately as it was clearly audible."

David Newlin, Columbia, Maryland

...

"I put Halo dampers on the tubes on my ASL Hurricanes, with wonderful effect."

Robin Wyatt, Basking Ridge, New Jersey

...

"They are great. My phono stage on the Wright Sound WPL 20 never sounded as silent and smooth! The difference on the line stage is tremendous. The whole preamp is HAL-Oed! Highly recommended!!"

Gabriel Gesmer, California

...

"I'm using the HAL-Os on Western Electric 300Bs and am very pleased with what they achieve. There's a very noticeable increase in resolution, due to elimination of blurring, at all frequencies. There's also a corresponding increase in specificity of imaging. This is a product that works as promised."

Larry Welsh, New York

...

"I've had the 'Halo' experience with a 300B SET and Grounded Grip pre-amp, but putting them on the Novals in the Hagerman Cornet and Berning microZOTL has absolutely transformed my system.

...

"The increased 'space' is amazing, but it's not just empty space. Instruments and voices are much more precisely located and delineated. Detail retrieval is enhanced. I've got more bass! Slam! All the 'grunge' is gone. I'm hearing important detail which never existed before. I'm not using junk tubes. Everything is NOS black plates (5751's, 12AU7's, 12AT7's) from the fifties: Amperex Holland, Mullard, GE, RCA. Obviously, they're more microphonic than people think."

John Guidi, Evolution Audio & Video

...

"I'm using your HAL-O 9s on my Lector CD player with good results."

Bill Phillips, Trenton, New Jersey

...

"I thought they were bogus. I tested them on a George Kay tube tester, with headphones, and tapped on some really microphonic tubes. With the HAL-O dampers on, the microphonics were reduced by about a hundred percent. It's amazing, I'm really impressed, and that's why I'm buying more."

Brian Gibson, Carbondale, Illinois

...

"I like the last batch of stuff so much that I've returned to throw more money at you. You're not getting the HAL-O 27s or the HAL-O JRs back, bye-the-bye. Thanks for the good stuff!"

Paul Bui, Milpitas, California

...

"So far I've tried your tube dampers, interconnect dampers, and the smallest size Tenderfoot footers.  I found that all claims in the HAL-O literature are true, and more.

...

"All together, the Damping Instruments bring the best out of my system. The sound just gets 'bigger'; bass seems to be of a very fine solid-state amp, highs are scarily detailed, extended and pleasantly airy. The SET ever-magical midrange is intact and untouched, only with better definition and larger size w/o having to turn up the volume. On superb recordings, a consistent impression is HUGE soundstage and vocal body, incredible DEPTH that is way farther than the back wall. It's a pleasure to note that I can now listen to and explore all tracks of a CD with tremendous joy, unlike the past fatiguing factor that limited me to selecting only certain tracks (sometimes only one or two) on supposedly very musical CDs. I hear tactile texture and tuneful detail that let me feel the bass line, rich harmonics, and tons of detail that I've never 'heard' before."

Stanley Yamane, Newton, Massachusetts

...

"I made a mistake in my order and only ordered one HAL-O 9, but it provided me a chance to do a mini-experiment. I'd recently finished adding my Anticipation upgrade to my Foreplay preamp and, while happy, had felt that the sound was more 'bloomy' than I remembered.

...

"I put the HAL-O on just one of the tubes and played a few tracks. After just a few, it seemed clear that the damped channel was cleaner and a lot more focused than the other one. However, I know how easy it is to fool yourself into thinking something is 'working,' so I decided to test what I was hearing. I recorded my impressions of each channel, then played the same tracks with the HAL-O switched to the other side. The clarity and focus moved to the other channel across all the test tracks.

...

"So, not a double-blind A-B-X test, but I did enter the test with a certain amount of skepticism and came away very pleased with the changes the HAL-O is making.

...

"Anyway, I'm sending in my HAL-O order for the other tube right now, then it's off to play with the grungebuster CD mat.

...

"Thanks for making such a great product!"

Richard Galas, Melbourne, Australia

...

"What can I say about that HAL-O dampers but they work! I put them on the 6N1P & 6N6P tubes in my intergrated amp and found now that the sound is much more tight, refined, and even more detailed than previously. I was skeptical about if they would work and if so, how much improvement I would notice, but these simple tube dampers are just great! A true bargain tweak if there ever was one! Many thanx for your professional service and product. I will be buying from you again."

Frank Goldfarb, North Miami Beach, Florida

...

"The HAL-O dampers have made a significant, worthwhile, and economical improvement. The sound is better focused and more transparent -- real easy to hear on my system. They're a terrific value, and I highly recommend them and you can quote me on that."

James Smith, New York

...

"The Hal-O dampers work very well on the Berning ZH270.  I get noticeably more texture with electric and string bass. Focus across the entire sound spectrum, most noticeable in the mids. Your Hal-Os are a keeper for sure!"

Alan Kafton, Audio Excellence AZ

...

"My customer was in disbelief when I put two Halo-9's on the cathode followers on his preamp. As a DIY guy, he didn't think this would make a bit of difference. The upshot? He's ordering eight Halo-9's for his preamp and phono stage, and two Halo-45's for his 2A3 amps."

Jon Creek, Hartford City, Indiana

...

"Your HAL-O's are great. I first installed them in the middle of the tubes and that overdamped the sound, took the dynamics right out. As per your instruction sheet I moved them to the top area of the tubes and that fixed the sound. Bass, the body of instruments like guitars, and voices are all much better. Also I like their ease of use compared to some others. I'd tried Mapleshade but sent them back -- not user friendly at all. The HAL-O's are very simple to use and adjust. Excellent product."

Dan Hempel, Lincoln, Nebraska

...

"I am totally shocked! My sound is much sharper and clearer. The high hats sound more real on jazz. The sounds are less blended, more separated, more of an impact in the bass. (HAL-Os on 6922 and 6SN7 tubes on my Cary SLI-80 integrated amp.)

Nick Fournier, Montreal, Canada

...

"I just put the HAL-Os in my amp and the sonic qualities were evident from the getgo! I am very excited about this product, it's a very well-made and cheap tweak with very noticeable difference in a sound system."

Len Fuller, New York

...

"The tube dampers work extremely well, turning Kevin's glaring Russian tubes into musical gems."

Bob O'Neill, Bound for Sound

...

Bob O'Neill's review of the HAL-O Damping Instruments is featured in the July 2002 issue of Bound for Sound Magazine. Here's an excerpt:

...

"I used the HAL-O devices on the 6DJ8s in my Presence line stage preamp. This mutha weighs in at over 50 lbs., and it's built in such a way that vibrations are attenuated naturally due to the quality of construction. Initially, I was skeptical as to how the HAL-O was going to improve on such an already optimized situation... but they did. Putting the HAL-Os on the preamp tubes made things way, way better--- better focus everywhere. Best of all, the HAL-O will not melt and bond with the tube it is being used on like some of the tube damping devices of the past. A well thought-out, quality product that addresses a real need."

Peter, Seattle, Washington

...

"Got the Halo 9s today and found them to be a boon from the get go. And I love that I can tune in the kind of sound I want by raising/lowering them! I'll definitely be buying more in the near future -- for all my tubes -- and will not hesitate to recommend them to all my tube friends."

Charles Stevens, Jonesboro, Georgia

...

"The dampers REALLY work!! I have an Antique Sound Lab OTL Mark III headphone amp, and after a series of tweaks--Walker SST, Auric Illuminator on the discs, this tweak alone betters them. I didn't realize how much vibration can be internally produced inside the unit until I tried the hal-o dampers. I did back to back testing with several discs, and the dampers revealed subtle nuances that were just not there before. Thanks for a great product :)

Geoff Christensen, Hull, Massachusetts

...

"I have received and tried the HAL-O's and am happy to report that they have made improvements. High end is cleaner, imaging is slightly more focused. The biggest difference is actually in bass, which is much more controlled now. I didn't expect that much difference in the low end."

Bob Lietz, The Analog Shop

...

"Wonderful product--they work!"

Michael Rinus, Dortmund, Germany

...

"Many thanks for my HAL-O's. They work very well, as music now sounds totally natural without any hint of sharpness as before, and the bass is unbelievable! Unbelievable as my speakers are fullrange electrostatics who literally have no deep bass -- but they got even more punch than they had before! A very big step forward"

Matthew Marine, Madison, Wisconsin

...

"Wow. Damn. I mean -- really -- wow! I just installed three Halo-9's on my original Audible Illusions Modulus. Best tweak EVER. It's like I got a whole new preamp for thirty bucks and change! Voices are much more clear, the air is more airy, and the bass -- good god! Who knew this old tube preamp could do fast, tight, take-your-breath-away bass?! The tubes/pre I use are particularly susceptible to microphonics. I could tap on the shelf it sits, and hear it easily through the speakers. Not any more! I can drum on the faceplate with my fingernails all night and it doesn't ring a bit. It's scary quiet! Lovely. A-1. Super-duper. Keen and neat-o, even. Color me impressed. Congratulations on a fine product, and thank you!

Kenneth Lauburg, East St. Louis, Illinois

...

"I have been happy with all of the HAL-O damping instruments I have purchased. I have one on each of my 17 tubes!"

Steve Miller, Newton Center, Massachusetts

...

"I recently bought a set of 4 HAL-O tube dampers for my Audible Illusions Modulus 3 preamp, and was pleased to find they did provide a small but noticeable improvement in tightness and focus. The first CD I listened to after installing them was a live recording of Jim Hall in a club, and, for better or worse, the background conversations were much clearer, amongst the actual small improvements in the music."

Douglas Deacon, Middletown, CT

...

"I received the six HAL-O 9's I ordered last week and, as they say, 'Wow!' They greatly reduced some nasty resonances on dynamic female vocals (think 'screecy sopranos') that I thought were caused by stylus mis-tracing. My preamp has six tubes and doubling up the HAL-O 9s on the phono stage tubes was even better than putting one on each phono stage tube plus one on each line stage tube. Overdamping has not occured, HF's are still crisp and transients are undimmed, so I guess I need more of your little rings. Thanks for a great tweak!"

Shaun Pearson, Darmouth, Nova Scotia

...

"I was sceptical at first, but after listening to Horowitz play Scarlatti a couple of dozen times with and without the HAL-Os, I know it's not my imagination. The HAL-Os impart a bell-like tone to notes that's really magical."

Kevin Grier, Norman, Oklahoma

...

"WOW, these puppies really make a difference. The background is blacker, low level sounds are more focused and beautiful, the soundstage is more palpable, hanging out in the air (I guess this is what people mean by "holographic"), there is more focus and detail without loss of beauty and pleasure in listening. At ten bucks or so a pop, I recommend them highly.

Xu Ren Kang, Flushing, New York

...

"Thanks, I get it and test it. HAL-O is great, much better than any kind of tube damping."

Rob Gillette, Mont Vernon, New Hampshire

...

"I installed your Hal-O tube damper on the 6SL7/ECC35 input tube of my Golden Tube SE-100 power amp. In terms of 'bang for the buck' this is by far the best upgrade I have ever made to my system and is competitive with upgrades that have costed 50 times more. The main sonic benifit that I discerned is better spatial integrity of each instrument. The gray area between instruments is now black. My compliments on a great and highly affordable product."

Phil Lemanski, Tuscon, Arizona

...

"With the HAL-Os in place, musicality increased very substantially."

Ilianto Mirawan, San Francisco, California

...

"They works marvelous!"

Stanley Wong, New York

...

"Thanks, great product and even better service."

George Bahry, Oakville, Ontario

...

"I got my HALO's, 4 (6DJ8's) in my Modulus 3a and 6 (6SN7's) in my Antique Audio Lab Hurricanes. They are certainly welcome in my system for the added solidity to the sound."

Hiroshi Ishii, Fremont, California

...

"They literally shut up most of noise from 6C5s in my EQ circuit."

Norman Thomas, Seattle, Washington

...

"I've had the dampers for maybe a year and they are lifesavers. They make even some cheap tubes sound pretty darn good."

Jeremy Price, New York

...

"I put one HAL-O 9X on each of the two tubes in my Unison Research 'Unico' integrated amp -- the one Sam Tellig raved about in 'Stereophile' to be a product of the year -- and instantly noticed the improvements. Much better tightness and clarity all round -- much better separation of instruments and vocals -- and the sound seemed to even get a little better after very little settling in. A superb tweak. Thank you!"

Scott, New Zealand

...

"After experimenting, I didn’t want to take any HAL-Os off the phono stage; they improved it too much! Anyhow, the line stage benefits equally. These tube dampers are fantastic. They have made a huge difference, notably tighter, deeper and more dynamic bass, more expressive midrange (especially voices and piano which are even more ‘there’ than they were before), and cymbals are now much more believable than previously. All from a quieter background meaning that low level detail is improved, too. Feel free to quote me – I’m totally convinced of the improvements they have made in my system."

Steve Liebman, West Harford, Connecticut

...

"The tube dampers have really improved the sound of my amp. Thanks."

Edward Maron, Brooklyn, New York

...

"This is a great product. I use them on the 6DJ8 tubes in my phono stage. I had the Audio Research dampers before, but these HAL-Os are perfect -- they don't overdamp. I highly recommend them."

Patrick J. Cunningham, Midwest Audio

...

"Bravo! These are the best solution yet against microphonics."

Norman Wong, Luyang, Malaysia

...

"Always a doubting Thomas, I still had doubts even as I slid the HAL-O 9 onto the two 5814A tubes in my Unico. Always also the type to almost never give praises, this one gets me to say: 'Exceptional.' Being in high-end for 20 years has taught me to be wary of a lot of what I view as ignorant exaggerated claims and praises heaped on products by ranting deaf fools simply hearing psychological improvements. I have just placed an order for another 2 for spares. Thanks."

Alan Clifford, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom

...

"I've never found a 'tweak' that didn't make me think I'm probably just imagining a difference, until the Hal-o's. Findings so far using Heart CDP6000 and Reflektor 6H23 tubes: A remarkable tidying up of a slightly lumpy bass, a strengthening of the timbre of cymbals and hi hats, wider soundstage. Taking off the Hal-o's made the system sound flat in comparison.

"I am very impressed with what I've heard so far and wouldn't have expected such a difference, many thanks."

Dr. Fook Lam, Ipoh, Malaysia

...

"Just to inform you that I have received your Hal-O dampers two days ago. They have greatly improved my system and the sound is lively and I am already happy as it is now."

Jim Aller, Des Moines, Iowa

...

"I am using them in a Sonic Frontiers Line 1 preamp with NOS Amperex PQ 6922 U.S.A. tubes. The HAL-0 9 s made a big improvement."

Hollis Derryberry, Laguna Woods, California

...

"The grungebuster and HAL-Os have improved my system, both image-wise and dynamically."

Stuart Hall, Houston, Texas

...

"The HAL-O tube dampers arrived safely on Saturday. I decided I'd give them an acid test. One of my favorite 6922-type tubes is the Mullard E88CC-01. I love the sound of it, but it is notoriously microphonic. Basically anyone who's dealt with it says that it's a very musical tube, but that in critical preamp situations it can 'ping' whenever a switch is turned or a relay flips. I've found that to be the case.

...

"Imagine my surprise when the usual 'ping' was gone. Unbridled Mullard warmth, even from this tube with its inherent problems. I think my situation was particularly taxing in the Ah! Njoe Tjoeb CD player, since the tubes are very near the transport (and thus near vibration) and across from the HUGE relay. Previously, any time you'd hit 'play' or access a track, you'd get the 'ping-ringdown.' Not anymore!

...

"So, short story, I think they work."

...

Added:

...

"Given how hot the tubes get in the Ah! (since it's a closed box), how would the Hal-O dampers stand up? It's been months, and I opened and they look as new (and fit as snugly) as the day I got them in the mail."

Andrew Tebbe, Atlanta Georgia

...

"HAL-Os did a great job in my Conrad Johnson PV14L2 pre. They silenced some very microphonic Tungsols. And generally improved the sound of some other tubes."

Vaughan Warren, Penzance, United Kingdom

...

"Applying the dampers a third of the way down the tubes looked very retro - almost Dalek like! The Quad ELS 63s then proceeded to reveal why they are such an international standard of sound reproduction - explosive percussion transients and driving bass - yes bass rhythms, with 3D voice and vocal backups. The Halo dampers had obviously solved a problem I was unaware of! Thanks again for providing such excellent products that really work and enhance the state of one's equipment."

Michael Lavorgna, The Absolute Sound, 6 Moons

...

"For an average price of about $10 and a 90-day no risk trial, I'll go out on an audiophile limb and suggest you try 'em if you haven't already. I own and use 'em on my preamp's 6SN7s. And they work."

Wira Tanzil, Jakarta, Indonesia

...

"The HAL-O 9 does bring me up to a new level of elation, and it’s the same old feeling of “how-much-I-have-missed-before” all over again.

...

"I placed the rings on the first pair of tubes in the position of Differential Amplifier of my Sonic Frontier Line 3. Push them down to about 1/3 from the top of the tube. The vocal sound becomes a lot more forward, even the background vocal harmony jumps out in a protrusive way. The overall resolution increased noticeably, but somehow the sound struck me as too aggressive and rather dry, the usual airiness has diminished.

...

"The Line 3 is said to be a very neutral amp, and is unforgivingly revealing. For a while I thought, disappointingly, this damping instrument probably does not work out, as my front-end (the California Audio Lab Delta transport and Alpha D/A converter for digital source and Rega P-3 for phono) are not top-line equipments. I listened to the system again without the HAL-O 9, but was immediately convinced that the sound I have been used to all this time was a bit veiled!

...

"I put back the HAL-O 9, placed it just right on the top end of the tube, and, WOW, this time it works! The soundstage seems to expand a bit more, the vocal is more focused, with all the musical instruments vividly in place. The dryness and forwardness of the vocal sound has gone. Yes, I am a happier man now!"

Juan Sanchez, Madrid, Spain

...

"Thanks a lot, the HAL-O damping instruments produce a subtle but noticeable improvement in the sound. That“s all I wanted in a system already quite tuned. I want to congratulate you. Music/tube lovers need people that solve the specific problems we find when we try to listen music as best as possible. I“m glad also to see this kind of professionality in a little but very important issue."

David Ritz, Leesport, Pennsylvania

...

"I have the HAL-O dampers on my output tubes and preamp. They make improvements, some subtle, some quite noticeable. I'm glad I'm using them---it's a nice product."

Mike Wedge, Austin, Texas

...

"I am very pleased with the results from the HAL-O dampers on my preamp (ARC LS-15)."

Iwan Ariawan

...

"I have tried your tube dampers on my input tubes, which is a pair of RCA 6u8 in Sophia Electric EL34 Push Pull Amplifier. I do hear a significant improvement in the sound quality especially in midrange band for naturalness of vocal, detail and focus."

...

Added: "bought the HAL-O tube damper for my EL34s. There a significant improvement on the sound quality, especially in depth, focus and presence. In my experience, adding tube damper in input/driver tube made the midrange band detail but smooth and the vocal get warmer. Adding tube damper to power tube make the staging better, especially in depth, focus and presence. Adding your tube damper to all input, driver and power tube made the sound improvement very significant. This is a great and a very cost efficient tweaking, Steve. I'll tell my audiophile friends about your tube dampers."

Joe Pittman, Pacific Northwest Audio Society

...

From the August, 2005 issue of Audioletter:

...

"There was another veil lifted between me and the music AND an overall improvement in reality as if real living performers were there, not a reproduction. Best twenty bucks I've spent so far in this hobby. (HAL-O 9's used on Amperex pinched waste tubes, Exemplar-modified Denon 2900 universal player)."

Francesco Porpora, Lecce, Italy

...

"Your HAL-O 9 damping tools was very useful to me, improving the sounstage of my ARC VT-100 MkII amp. I hope to buy from you again!"

Brendan Biever, Tube World

...

"It's a funky little device. I'm using one in my preamp."

Lodovico Avogadro, Torino, Italy

...

"Two fantastic HAL-O 35 are now damping my tubes, working perfectly! I will surely order something more in the future."

Glenn Oey, Oakland, California

...

"I'm very happy with the HAL-O tube dampers. It did more than take care of my microphonics problem. Sonically, it improved in areas I did not expect. Tighter bass & improved imaging are a couple of obvious areas."

John in NC

...

"Everything I have ever purchased from Herbies Audiolab has delivered with audible improvements to my system. Most recently, the Halo 9 tube dampers that I recently installed on the 6922 tubes in my Raysonic CD 128 CDP. The Halo dampers are my favorites. Not only do they work, they work amazingly well and have brought a level of realism, clarity, increased soundstage, and enhanced imaging that I did not expect. Most impressive is the natural timbre of instruments and voices that these vibration killing wonders have unleashed. Steve, you are a genius. Anyone who prejudges these tweaks as snake oil just doesn't know what they are missing.

Mike McCoy, Austin, Texas

...

"Love my HALO's. I'll be needing one more for the Rectifier soon."

David Speed, Canada

...

"The 9's made a good difference on my Jolida cd player. Thanks."

Chris Sherman, Richmond, Virginia

...

"I own several tube amps and preamps. I have tried other dampening devices, but have found yours to be the most effective and attractive looking, at the best pricing.Your customer service is wonderfull as well."

Scott Simms, Pleasanton, California

...

"This is the second set of HAL-Os for my system and they sound great; better bass control, sweeter highs and improved imaging."

Choy Seong Lin, Victoria, Australia

...

"I warmed up my Welborne Labs Laurel amps for about half an hour and had a good listen to my favourite track before fitting the HAL-Os onto the 300Bs. And WOAH! A really, really evident change in the sound! A change for the better that is. Instruments sounded cleaner and clearer, vocals became more forward-sounding and very well defined! I didn't think that it would bring such a big improvement to the overall sound!"

Manchiu Tam, Salem, Oregon

...

"I put six nickel HAL-O 27's on the EL-34's and one teflon Hal-O 9 on the ECC803's of each TAD-1000 monoblock. The 27's were a third
down from the top, the 9's midway down. I have read reviewers mentioned things like hearing lower noise floors, and I am sure I was hearing that as well. I also think that more than hearing something, I was NOT hearing something or somethings. The music appeared out of the black, suddenly much more relaxed; like layers of glare and grunge had been taken out, leaving me with just the music. It was more pure. I was getting more and more impressed with the sound of the system.

...

"Then, we get to the insides of the pre-amp where the tubes reside (Audio Experience Symphonies Plus). The three EH 12AX-7's all were covered by their own metal shrouds which were springloaded. I removed them. The 6x4 tube had a rubber ring around it acting as a tube damper I guess. I removed that. On went three teflon HAL-O 9's onto the 12AX7's midway down and one teflon HAL-O 7 onto the 6x4, a third down from the top. I listened with the cover off, just in case I needed to do something to the dampers. The soundstage opened up wider and deeper than before, instruments and singers more there, bigger. I truly believe the pre-amp is the one place where your tube damping instruments can render fantastic results. Maybe putting these on small signal tubes, therebyaffecting the signal before it goes to the power amp, has something to do with it; sort of like nipping them in the bud, them being microphonic hash, glare, distortion. I then moved the damper down to the middle of the tube on the 6x4 and was rewarded with another increment of improvement, especially imaging.

...

"At this point, I was absolutely flabbergasted and amazed at how much the system has changed. So one more tweak, lower the dampers to the middle of the EL34's rather than a third down from the top. This seemed to have a mild effect, perhaps a tad more warmth, maybe even less glare, more relaxed."

Ken Floyd, U.S.A.

...

"I ordered your tube dampers on a lark. I figured $20 was a fair price to pay for the outside chance of an improvement in sound. I have two 12AX7A tubes in a phono stage in my system and was fairly pleased with the sound. But a music lover is never really pleased with the sound so I took a chance. Yikes! What a shock to hear the difference. The slight sheen on top was gone. The instruments and vocals were more distinct in the soundstage. Everything sounded better. I could even listen at lower level without feeling I was missing anything (well, the volume control was backed off somewhat but it sounded as loud)."

B. Ravi, Lower Hutt, New Zealand

...

"The  Halo-9 on my preamp tubes gave a major improvement which I did not anticipate, as the preamp was already well isolated with sorbothane feet and the PCB inside was isolated with earlier generation Spectra Dynamics compliant washers."

Rob Trankley, Richmond, Indiana

...

"The ones I borrowed from a friend of mine worked very well, indeed, on my amp (thus I ordered these the next day). I have had good luck with your dampers, first buying a set a couple of years ago for my Lectron JH30. My Ming Da MC88C responds wonderfully to having your dampers on its 5 small tubes (four 12ax7 and one 12au7). I was surprised, as it is completely hard-wired, and I had thought the dampers worked well only on amps utilizing circuit boards. I continue to learn things every day about this hobby!"

Eric Liu, Milpitas, California

...

"I installed the HAL-Os on my Sonic Frontiers Line3 preamp. I hear the improvement on focus and details right away. Very happy with your products."

Tony Slafta, Lawrenceville, Georgia

...

"I have used HAL-Os on the 6SN7s in my Hurricane amps for about 2 years now, they do the job quite well."

John Garrett, Battle Ground, Washington

...

"I REALLY love the Hal-o dampers!!!!! Wouldn't use tubes without them."

Paul Mann, United Kingdom

...

"Your dampers are doing an excellent job in my system, especially on Bendix 9600's."

Paul Girolamo, New Hampshire

...

"Thanks! They did the trick. Got rid of some nasty el84 rattle going on. Very happy!"

Craig Ericksen, Mississippi

...

"I really enjoy the HAL-Os that I am using with my ARC gear -- so much so that I'm going to get some for my headphone amp."

Miro Baitgofsky, Ajax, Ontario

...

"You guys are great communicators and easy to deal with. I have ordered a quad of Teflon rings for my preamp. After installation the sound improved immensely. I'm very happy with your product."

Steve Keitzer, Jacksonville, Florida

...

"I love your damping instruments; they make a subtle but ultimately huge difference."

Tony Leung, Singapore

...

"Here are my initial comments on the Hal'O 9:

...

- Difference is immediate.
- Have a more 'solid' tone than before.
- Vocal seems to have more body.
- Overall tonality improved.
- Good Job Steve!"

Irving R. Clemo, Castro Valley, California

...

"Installed my HALOs on my Audio Mirror SET monos -- man, what a difference! Much cleaner, much more separation and detail, and MUCH better bass! The sound is a little firmer, but is loaded with life-like verve, snap, extension and harmonic balance -- a lot like a good NOS Sylvania tube. Vinyl especially is another world entirely; my records now have much more authority and life force to them. An amazing difference! Couldn't be more satisfied."

John Honinx, Antwerpen, Belgium

...

"The Hal-o i recieved are just amazing, never expected such a huge impact on the overall quality. You are really doing a great job. Thanks a lot."

Robert Brown, Ottawa, Canada

...

"Your tube dampers are awesome! I can't believe how good my amp sounds!"

John Costanzo, My Kind of Music

...

"After many hours of experimentation with various Valve designs that include Audio Aero, EAR-Yoshino & Foundation Research V5 & V6, we, along with our clients, have come to the conclusion that these devices should not be viewed as an accessory but as mandatory requirements. In most cases, the listener has not realized the true capabilities of their system components; the Hal-O's simply allow the listener to realize this. In addition, they offer excellent Return on Investment. Highly Recommended."

Chris Elliott, New Hampshire

...

"The HAL-O 9s arrived last week. I installed them on the 6922s of my ARC LS-15, and they made a noticeable improvement to the focus of vocals, soundstage width, and tonality."

Luis Lopez, New York

...

"I received my Hal-os last week (thanks for the quick shipment) and the difference was WOW!!! Really nice separation, clean soundstage, controlled, tight, deep bass, and most of all, the smearing and dirt was gone--heck, I didn't even know it was there to begin with. I'm new to tube amplification in home audio, and have been happy with the warmth and harmonics as compared to solid state, so I typically blamed the recording itself for any grainy and/or smeared sound. I had read about the microphonic nature of tubes but wasn't hearing pings or wierd echos. But now, almost everything sounds good, cds and lps. It's like I have all new gear. I know I'm gushing here, but I've spend about $600 on NOS tubes, and while they (Mullard, Teles, Sylvania, etc) marked a significant upgrade over new Russian or Chinese stock, I still wasn't getting that incredible musicscape that everyone was talking about, not until these little dampers arrived. (Amp: TAD-60 -- Preamp: TAD-150)"

Tom Rothermel, The Vinyl Valet

...

"You make a good product and I will promote it whenever I have the opportunity."

Randy Rash, Falmouth, Kentucky

...

"After installing the HAL-Os, I listened to some very familiar music with some extremely quiet passages. I discovered that there is more 'going on' in those passages than I was previously aware of. Detail and focus are definitely better and three dimensionality has also improved. For $50.00, this is one of the better bargains I have come across."

Jeff Fox, Falls Church, Virginia

...

"The sound is definitely better---better definition and focus---less ringing."

David Greene, Black and Greene Records, Los Angeles, California

...

"Your audio mat and Halo-9 tube dampeners have totally changed the quality of my system. I think the Unisom Unico should come with Halo-9's because the difference is SO huge. My low end is much tighter and deeper, and the entire sonic soundstage is more full and colorful! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!"

William Robinson, New York

...

"I realized right away the HAL-Os work a heck of a lot better than those ebony disk thingies from Shun Mook that go on top of tubes, and which cost a lot more. I guess I can sell the disks on Audiogon, though. Heck, I've got no use for them anymore."

Jim Yeasky, New Jersey

...

"I received the Hal-O's yesterday afternoon. Installed and auditioned them last night. I LIKED what I heard. To use fishing lingo, these are keepers. I am going to set up an analog tube front end soon, so I foresee the need for many more of your Hal-O's. I now can't envision using a tube without your damping instrument. I used the Hal-O's on my ASL Explorer DT mono blocks which use ECC83 input, KT88 driver and 805 50w triode output tubes. WOW!"

Kurt Miller, Worthington, Ohio

...

"I came across your products by accident via the web and went ahead and ordered for all the tubes. I have a Cary SLI-80 all-tube integrated that has all the best NOS replacement tubes and, with Shakti Stones on the transformers, sounds great. But I knew things could be better.

...

"I started by using a couple of very familiar CD's and SACD's. I started with HAL-O's around the SN7's then added the 6922's, the KT-88's, and finally the RU4's. Each time I added a set of HAL-O's, things got noticeably better right away. I would not call the effect subtle and altogether the result was breathtaking --- especially in triode mode! I expected good results with input tubes, but I would have not believed it would make such a difference on power and rectifier tubes. Your product is superb!"

Mike, Cape Coral, Florida

...

"I received your Hal-O9 today. I just have to say they really do improve the sound quality; you have an interesting tweek here. I had my doubts, good job and thanks again!"

William Irvine, Roeland Park, Kansas

...

"Halo-9s arrived and worked perfectly to stop the EF86 from ringing. Great product!"

Simon Lau, Kowloon, Hong Kong

...

"I have bought some New NOS tubes for my amp: Amperex EL 34's, Mullard 5AR4's, Tungsol 5687, and Telefunken ECC81. While these tubes cost more than an arm and leg, they are fantastic tubes compared with EH's, GE's and Philips Jan I used to have. Together with your Halo rings, they just make the background even quieter, clarity with ooze of smoothness and soundstage just incredible. I highly recommend your Halo's to people using NOS tubes, just gets that much closer to 100% operating efficiency!"

Martyn Balsky, Halifax, Nova Scotia

...

"I have placed the 6 hal-o damper’s on my Hovland preamp. My first impression was greater dynamics, mostly noticed in the bass region. I am also getting much more information. I seem to have more volume for the same setting, but perhaps that is due to the reduced noise floor?"

David Finnegan, Saratoga, California

...

"I received the six Hal-O that I ordered two days ago. I placed two on the 6N1P's in my phono stage and four on the 6922's in my linestage. I think that these have greatly improved the focus of the sound and defined better the bass in my system and I am, thus, very pleased."

John Revilla, Walnut, California

...

"Your Halo 9 improved my AH Njoe Tjoeb 4000 bigtime!"

Joe Mendez, Sammamish, Washington

...

"I've been using your tube dampers with great effect for over a year now. The Hal-Os are very effective and seem to apply just the right amount of damping. Other damping devices I've tried tend to dull the sound of tubes a bit."

Steven Jeffcoat, Herndon, Virginia

...

"I received my Hal-O's last week. I put them on all six Siemens 6922's in my Sonic Frontiers Line-1. Immediately there was a layer of grunge that was stripped away and music just became clearer and more focused. I can understand the clarity issue, but the improvement in imaging was a real surprise. Instrument placement was just so much more exact."

Andrew Szymanski, Australia

...

"I have installed HAL-O 9s on my input and driver tubes (Tenor 75 Wp). It was amazing difference; it is 'must have tweak' with this amp."

Norm Luttbeg, College Station, Texas

...

"I got the Hal-O 60s today and put them on my TJ300Bs. The noise level dropped and everything is so much more vivid and dynamic. Great stuff."

Steve Rouse, Ambience Audio

...

"Having used Top Hats for years, I was unprepared for the improvement that I heard in my single-ended amps when I first installed the HAL-O tube dampers. There was an increase in clarity, with better focus and they presented a more holographic soundstage. They are the real deal."

Jason McGuire, Florida

...

"I have owned Ensemble Tube Socks and Vintage Tube Services Mini-tube Dampers, and neither came close to the quality improvement that the Hal-O 9 Dampers have done. The combination of value and performance of the Hal-O 9 is truly amazing. The microphonics are gone and yet the minimal surface area contact allows for proper cooling. Plus, Steve shipped the order the same day and followed up with his support just to make sure I was happy. Steve, I am very happy!"

Jim Horton, Campbellsville, Kentucky

...

"Can you say CLARITY, IMAGING and FOCUS??!!! I installed your HAL-O's on the 6922 and EL84 tubes in my Cary V-12i and all these aspects improved dramatically. My wife says she has never heard a recording sound more real. Thanks for a superior product!"

Robert Wilcox, Marlborough, Connecticut

...

"The HALOs are very synergistic in my CD player. They sound a little less analytical than brass anchors. The tubes I am using are JAN Sylvanias 7308s. They sound better than the stock tubes (more lucid, detailed and better bass) but were a little forward sounding. The HALOs just sound a little more balanced than the anchors. The anchors can be a pain to adjust -- it is hard to get the set screws with the same degree of mild tension required. I think the HALOs are more consistent in how they apply pressure to the tube surface."

Adrianto Soekandar, Jakarta, Indonesia

...

"The HAL-O Tube Dampers really works! My Audio Research pre and Conrad Johnson amp now sounds higher-end! Blacker background, faster transient, smoother sound, cleaner treble, and also steadier imaging. Wow! You really have a winner product here for tube users :-)"

Mike Grove, Euless, Texas

...

"I've been using Teflon encapsulated silicone o-rings as dampers on my nine-pin and octals for years and years and thought I was happy with them. I'd often wondered whether your hal-o's offered any improvement over the o-rings and I finally decided to given them a try. Well after giving the hal-o's a good solid audition this afternoon, I'm convinced that the answer is 'hell yes they do.'  The last vestiges of hardness around upper frequencies are GONE, inner detail in the music is more evident ... you know -- the good stuff got more better."

James Fairhead, Midhurst, Canada

...

"Wow!! I have one SET-300B amp at the foot of each of my four Tannoy Churchills in my home theater. How was I to know? Simply putting one HAL-O on each 6sn7 receiver tube on each of the four amps brought the single largest improvement of anything I have done for years and for the money probably the single most important."

Randy Grinc, New York

...

"Excellent product, Steve. I have fitted all the tubes on my CJ MV60 and PV15 with HAL-O dampers. These things WORK!"

Fred Nater, Flemington, New Jersey

...

"I installed the HAL-O 9 on the 12BH7 driver tube of my amp. I am very impressed with the outcome!"

Warren Gibson, Lahaina, Hawaii

...

"I installed all of the HAL-O's the day I got them and I was stunned. The difference was immediate and amazing. The tweak of the century! And BTW, I am very impressed with your customer service."

Bob Walters, Santa Clara, California

...

"I've installed the tube dampers -- great stuff!"

Bill Turley, Ventura, California

...

"Never have I heard so much done by so little. My once excellent AI M3A is now brilliant with the Hal-Os installed. I could name specific improvements, but I hope you have heard them all before. This has to be the best value on the audio market. Listening to it now, I still can't believe it actually, but there you are."

Chris O'Meara, Massachusetts

...

"My UltraSonic 9's arrived today. I ordered two for the input tubes on my Manley Stingray.  Steve Herbelin is running a smoothly operating company. I got emails confirming my order and for shipping notifications. The dampers seem to be extremely well made.

...

"I put them on the tubes and gave one of the tubes a little plink. Normally the plink gets amplified pretty loudly. This time there was nothing. I was pretty impressed with that but I wasn't sure if I would actually here much of a difference.

...

"These things are amazing. Detail has emerged on CDs that I have listened to hundreds of times. The soundstage has changed. It is wider and higher. I am going to move the horns this weekend because I am curious if the soundstage is reaching in back of the horns too. The textures of the instruments sound better. Strumming guitars, brass, and drums all sound better."

Tho Huynh, Southampton, United Kingdom

...

"On the smaller dampers fitted on my GE 5751 valves (also Raytheon, RCA); very IMPRESSIVE even though I had thought my Wavac MD805 would not make any further improvement as they are extremely good in sound quality. Very surprised: The bass is much more tuneful and one can feel the low frequency really absorb into one's body much more intense! Sound stage and mid range are a little better but I do not expect this because the Wavac amp is quite excellent in this regards.

...

"On the larger tubes the HAL-O Rings also work extremely well. The sounds seems to be louder and better tonal balance, slightly better bass, warm with good texture, altogether it gives a very grand scale of music. One thing that I really surprise is some of the 805 tubes I thought it came to their last leg of service time and I put them in the drawer for a long time, BUT I now put the RINGS on them and the small noise completely disappear and now they work fine no problems at all!

...

"I must say the dampers for the driver tubes is extremely effective, I can distinguish the bass from the drum and bass from guitar so vividly. PLAYING XRCD shows this with the warmth and intimacy that I have not experienced before."

Reed Lombart, Virginia

...

"Seriously, there is an immediate and appreciable improvement. I'm a true believer and will highly tout the virtues of the HAL-O Damping Instruments to my fellow audio gonzos."

Dan Evans, Jacksonville, Florida

...

"The HAL-O #9's work beautifully in my system. I have an Art Audio Vinyl (phono stage) which is located OUTSIDE my listening room on a target shelf with a Neuance isolation shelf. I wasn't really expecting too much. But everything seemed to clean up and the imaging just won't be denied."

Keith Fertig, Mogadore, Ohio

...

"I'd say the HAL-O's improved everything 10 percent. The low/mid bass detail improved dramatically; I heard notes I've never heard before. Midrange is just phenomenal."

John Kruczek, Orefield, Pennsylvania

...

"I only ordered 2 HAL-O's to start, as my past experience with the 'normal' red silicone/rubber tube dampers out there was inconsequential at best. I put the HAL-Os on the tubes in the Ah player figuring it's best to kill the grunge at the beginning (Ei tubes). The results? WOW, and not a little wow. Let me tell you, these things do their job. We all suffer from unwanted harmonics from the systems themselves and room vibrations from the music we are making and the HAL-Os snuff it right out. Clarity and focus are everywhere. I used the HAL-O 9's in white at $10 each and it is simply the best 10 bucks any tube user can spend."

Frank Englander, Phoenix, Arizona

...

"The HAL-Os are working out very well. A big improvement in the Decware Taboo. Swapping between the HAL-Os and the Duende's on the Calypso was very close. Perhaps a slight improvement in the midrange, a little more detail. They do the job, very well and at a much better price point than the Duende's. For me that is a home run."

Steve Fay, Sandwich, Illinois

...

"Just want to say thank you for the excellent service and product. I'll be honest I wasn't expecting the level of improvement I recieved with Teflon HAL-O tube dampers. Truely amazing!!! Thank You!"

Cyrus Won, Honolulu, Hawaii

...

"The HAL-Os arrived yesterday and I got an evening's worth of audition. I was surprised at the effect and I really liked what I heard. Needless to say, I won't be returning them."

Ray Leachman, Ft. Worth, Texas

...

"I would like to sing the praises of the Halo Tube Dampers. I have a nice-sounding quad of VT-231's in my Rogue Ninety-Nine preamp. They are (were) very microphonic. Just a slight finger to the cabinet and ringing could be heard thru the system. Changing the input selector switch set the ringing off also. To be honest, I did not detect any bad effects of this while listening to music. I decided however to try and do something about the ringing. That something was to try out the Halo Rings (size 27) on them. All I can say is WOW. I can't believe the difference. I can now rap the cabinet quite firmly and NO ringing (same with the input selector switch). I now also know that the tubes' microphonics were affecting the musical reproduction, as the preamp has never sounded better."

David Dailey, Austin, Texas

...

"Installed HAL-O 9s in my SF Line 3 SE Linestage and my BAT VK P5 Phono -- they work like a champ."

Dennis Najuch, Bridgewater, Massachusetts

...

"All I can say is WOW!! They are everything everyone has said about them. The 'Halos' bring the Zens up to another level. I can't believe there was that much image smearing going on. Geeze, goose bump factor has gone up even at moderate levels. Outstanding, worthwhile, co$t effective product! I'm impressed. Now, I'm waiting on the NOS tubes to arrive. How much better can it get?"

George Chirayus, London, United Kingdom

...

"I installed the HALOs on my Zen Select. I have been listening for the past four hours and they are superb! I would not have imagined how much of a difference they made. Sure, some improvement, but not to the level I experienced tonight.

...

"They lifted several veiled layers to expose soundstage I hoped the Zen had, but never experienced to this level. All for the price of an entry level pair of interconnects! They really are that good. I'm keeping them!"

Vince Cannistraro, McClean, Virginia

...

"The tube dampers work as advertised.  They significantly minimize microphonics and I especially notice a difference on some older tubes. Having tried a number of other so-called tube dampers, including some from 3M that were eventually discontinued (they turned to rubberized mush on some EL-84 tubes), I would have no hesitation in recommending the HAL-O Vacuum Tube Damping Instruments. They are the best."

Steve Kaelin, San Jose, California

...

"WOW!! Noticed a difference right away with the HAL-O 9s on my Music Reference RM-10 input tubes. I'm now getting greater focus with less overall grunge in the upper frequencies. All in all, the best $30.00 I've ever spent on my system. I don't know what magic substance you're putting in your dampers, but it sure does wonders on my 12AX7s. Great product for a great price. Keep up the good work!"

Lok Hee Chan, Hong Kong

...

"I'm a user of these products--- the tube dampers and the damping feet, and I'm glad to tell you that I like them and they work. I live in Hong Kong and these were sent to me without extra charge for the mail; excellent service!

...

"I gave two Hal-O 9's to a friend in Germany to try. He is a tube seller and has microphonic testing equipment. After he tried the dampers with various brands of 9-pin small-signal tubes (most were the troublesome 6DJ8/6922 family), he found that the tube dampers would yield a reduction of microphonics around 6~8 dB, depending on the positon of the dampers."

Rolf Eriksen, Oslo, Norway

...

"I added the 8 HAL-O 45 on the KT-88 tubes in my McIntosh. Wow! I was immediately blown away! This surely went way beyond my expectations. The background went black, quiet. The focus was much better. The soundstage wider. I could clearly hear that there had been distortion earlier, wich now was removed. The treble became much more open/detailed. Everything was positive and no single negative change detected so far.

...

"Well, I figured I could also add dampening to the 6 small tubes as well, but now it surely can't get remarkably better? Wrong again! Again I gained noticeably improvement. Even more blackness. More detailed and focused bass wich also sounds deeper. The treble also noticable better. Overtone structures and details I have never heard before. Crisp, clear but still plesant and natural sounding. Also the middle has improved together with high and lowend. I have tested a couple of Quad 989 for a couple of weeks, but now I find my dynamic speakers almost equally articulate and natural sounding. The human voice is clearer and understanding the lyrics (or what is sung) is much easier than ever before. Impressing!

...

"To put it short. You will NOT get these items returned."

Graham Miles, Ontario, Canada

...

"I installed the set of Halo tube dampers on my dual monobloc Decware Zens and the results were quite spectacular. I notice a wonderful increase in detail and dynamics and thought my speakers had reached down another octave into the bass. I'm very pleased. Thanks for coming up with these little gems."

Vidar Benonisen, Tromsų, Norway

...

"I just have to write and tell you that with my Hal-O inside my 6DJ8-equipped DAC, the musical presentation of my system has been transformed. Everything is cleaner, more open and extended as well as more focused and palpable. There is a little less midbass but I guess that was some kind of microphonics or acoustical feedback. Needless to say --- I am very pleased with the result of this tweak."

Bob Johns, Everett, Washington

...

"The Halos are without a doubt one of the best 'tweaks' a person could ask for! I have them on all my tubes, and cannot imagine ever having a component that has tubes and not having a Halo dampener on the tubes."

Colin Saunders, Ottawa, Canada

...

"I've got to be honest -- I fully planned to try the Halo IIIs and return them because -- come on! -- they're just more audiophile candy, right? WRONG! These are my first ever INSTANT improvement tweak. I never realized all the detail I was missing.

...

Thanks, Herbie, for a truly fantastic product. They work! They actually work!"
