Loudspeaker spikes are more effective when used in conjunction with Herbie's dBNeutralizer decoupling, especially with wood or suspended floors, whether carpeted or bare. Likewise, if your spikes couple firmly to your cabinet and are themselves solid and relatively free of coloration, they will complement Herbie's Decoupling Gliders very well by easing some of the workload and making the Gliders even more efficient. (Herbie's Cone/Spike Decoupling Gliders are used under your present spikes or cones.)
Features fiberglass-reinforced dBNeutralizer(tm) decoupling base and extra-thick brass, stainless steel or titanium disk. Fitted into Magic Sliders, they can be used on virtually any kind of floor, bare or carpeted, with easy-sliding mobility. Extra-deep conical indentation prevents spike from slipping out when lateral pressure is applied. Suitable for audio racks, stands and loudspeakers of virtually any weight.
Regular: 1-3/8" diameter by 1/2" tall. With speaker load, height from bottom of Glider to bottom of conical indentation is about 5/16" (8mm).
Giant: 2-3/8" wide by .67" tall (conical indentation is .144" deep).
Brass: superb hi-end results with most audio systems (our default recommendation).
Stainless steel: superb hi-end results with most audio systems.
Titanium: best-looking and best-sounding results possible.

Herbie’s goes all the way.
As a South African travelling in the USA I had tight deadlines for deliveries as I moved around California, and finalised my requirements. Herbie’s were true to their word every time, and I am back where I belong and excited to hear the new resonance in my sound world.
Cone/Spike Glides
Excellent product!
Glides
Excellent product! Well made and certainly made a difference.
Pleasantly surprised!
I purchased the titanium decoupling gliders. I didn’t want to be wondering if I could get better sound if I would have went with the bronze or steel gliders. My expectations were low, because my PSA FR-20 speakers were being placed on a carpeted concrete floor. My speakers were brand new when I purchased the gliders so it was difficult for me to discern significant improvements in sound. Fast forward 500 hours of play time. Wow! What a difference! Without them the music sounds smeared. With them everything sound more coherent, transparent with a bigger sound stage. Bass is tighter with better perceivable bass extension. A far more palpable and holographic image can be heard. All this is happening on a solid concrete floor. Not what I expected. The added bonus of being able to precisely slide/glide into optimal position with ease is an added bonus. My speakers are 133 lbs each. Needless to say I can’t live without them.
nice change
We are pleased to have found the gliders. We have Sonus Faber Serafino speakers on a thin carpet and have been reluctant to move them. Our floor is uneven underneath so one or more might fall off but they are much easier to put back on than the stock circles. We were able to move them more easily and get better sound. Wish we had found them earlier.
Cone/spike decoupling glider
Small but effective at gliding revel salon 2 to ideal listening position
Cone/Spike Decoupling Glider - Regular / Titanium
They look superb. I feel, right or wrong, that they provided a slightly improved sound stage with my Wharfedale EVO 4.4 speakers. Thank you.
gliders
unfortunately they are not working for me and I’m buying sliders from Home Depot..the rubber rings around the sliders pop out-it does not seem to be able to handle the weight of my Eggleston Andra speakers -(
Titanium is king !
I thought the stainless steel gliders were incredible, the titanium elevates it to the stratosphere! Vocals/midrange is crystal clear and holographic. Bass is tighter and more extended. Drums are so accuate and with proper weighting. All instruments pop and present a natural, organic presentation. Do yourself a huge favor and upgrade to the titanium gliders, they are worth their weight in gold ! Highy Recommended
Cone/Spike decoupling gliders
My floors are engineered hardwood laid over a concrete slab. They’re not completely flat. Optimal speaker placement initially requires substantial movement to position them correctly. My speakers came with spikes and thin pucks with very shallow depressions so the spikes often would slip out of the pucks when moving the speakers laterally damaging the floor. These gliders have very deep depressions so the the spikes never slide out and make speaker adjustments a breeze. Additionally they decouple the speakers from the floor removing that unwelcome and audible interaction. Highly recommend for those who have spiked speakers and need to move or reposition them safely over wooden floors or carpets. The audible improvement with decoupling is an added bonus.
Significant improvement
I bought a set for my Sonus Faber Sonetto V’s and noticed an immediate and significant improvement so I am very pleased with the purchase.
